Grants from foundations continue to sustain worthy causes
As the economy shows sign of recovery the Rockwell Fund expands supports of proven, effective non-profit programs.
Austin, TX, September 29th: A new $30,000 grant from the Rockwell fund to support the operations of the Center for Successful Fathering will go a long way to helping fathers across America. Budget makers everywhere have faced tough choices over the last few years as available dollars shrunk and the lists of priorities were trimmed and trimmed again. Fortunately for the Austin based Center for Successful Fathering, their programs to help fathers learn the critical skills of successful dads still earn respect and funding from governmental agencies and foundations committed to support valued non-profits.
“We’ve faced several challenges in the last year or so, but our enthusiasm and commitment to the Mission of the Center for Successful Fathering has never been greater because we can actually see and measure the successes of our programs,” said Dr. Ron Klinger, President and founder of the Center for Successful Fathering. “Reconnecting fathers with their children and with the principals of responsible fatherhood is our passion.”
The Center for Successful Fathering provides highly effective programs like Bonding Through Play and Accepting the Challenges of Fatherhood both in video and curriculum formats to governmental agencies like Head Start and school districts across America. Most materials are available in English and Spanish. Dr. Klinger’s first book, The Common Sense, No-Frills, Plain-English Guide to Being a Successful Dad is in its third printing with over 8,000 copies sold.
